A detailed guidebook of famous alpine mountain range of Turkey: the Aladag. The authour Tunc Fındık, is a pioneer alpinist in Turkey. Summited more than 600 peaks only in Turkey, he has climbed in many continents and by the time book was printed had clmbed 6 different 8000ers – among them he is a double Everest summitter.

The guide book icludes 50 routes of authours choice in 5 different categories. He has climbed every route, many times and seasons most of them. Findik’s famous detailed sketch topos and own photos visualise the routes. A complimentary Aladaglar Skecth Map comes with the book.

“ I have included  50 easy or hard, famous or unknown, long or short, different climbing routes, all  absolutely traditional climbing routes. ‘Ridge Climbs’ section gives examples for  every kind of ridge / arete / buttress type climbing in the Aladag, from technical wall type buttresses to easy, scrambling ridges. In ‘Traverses’ section, you can see  long or short crossings, mostly connecting the long ridgelines between the high summits. In ‘Technical Wall Climbing’ section, some specimens of  the multi pitch, historically important big face climbs that have often witnessed the past of climbing in the Aladag are studied, both short and long, hard or easy ones. In ‘Winter, Mixed and Ice Climbs’ section, you can see that not all of the ascents on the Aladag are on sheer, dry rock faces but also on mixed ground choked with ice and snow. ‘Short Technical Routes’ section includes the shorter climbs on rock that are not specified as big alpine faces but are simply shorter technical climbs as the name implies.”
